Every season, the Dolton Public Library District offers a variety of public computer classes where patrons can learn the basics or practice existing skills.

Refer to the calendar of events or a copy of the current Dolton Notes newsletter for additional details regarding classes being offered.

Each class participant must have a Computer/Internet Agreement on file (refer to our policy) and pay a $5 cash deposit (per class) prior to being able to register for classes.  Deposits are refundable as long as participants attend designated class.  Cancellations must be made, in-person, at lease five days prior to the start of class.  If cancellations are not made according to the guidelines stipulated above, deposits will not be refunded.  Please call Allison at the library for registration information (708) 849-2385.

If you are interested in practicing your typing skills and learning about general keyboarding, come into the library to practice on our computers.  In addition, we offer a variety of books and resources on typing and computers.
